Some of the best things to sell on eBay are on eBay itself. The top sellers on eBay capitalize on certain strategies that most don’t know about.
First off, look to purchase auction items with no photographs on eBay. It is amazing how many auctions still take place without photographs. A lot of buyers are turned off by them, but here’s how you can profit.
Examine the listings and see if the seller offers an iron clad money-back guarantee and if his/her feedback is high (at least 15) with 99-100% positive comments. If so, you can snatch these items up at deep discounts and resell right away (with your own photographs, this time!). These items are one of the best things to sell on eBay.
Next, look at auction items that have misspelled titles or descriptions. You will often find that these auctions do not get a lot of bids since they won’t show up in the bidder’s original search terms. Plus, these sellers are sellers who just want to sell their item without a lot of effort. Many of these auctions end with no bidder. Follow up with them and offer them a low price.
Finally, look at bidding on items that are ending during the week at early morning hours, between 4 to 7 am, Eastern Standard Time. These auctions are closing when there are the fewest amount of buyers. You can make a lot of money from these auction.
Of course, if you would like to save a lot of time researching these hidden gems, then I would suggest going with reputable wholesalers who can not only set up you up with great products, but they will often offer them at prices lower than anywhere else. They are, without a doubt, the source for the best things to sell on eBay.

Help answer the question aboutSell On Ebay
How do Ebay sellers manage to sell things below market price and still make money?I bought my iTouch 2nd Gen 16GB (brand new) at only $242 while the market price is $299 plus tax. I have also found a lot of things selling at Ebay for less than the market price, if you are only selling that item once, I guess you wouldn't mind making less; but some sellers sell hundreds of items all for less, how would they be able to make a profit?

I will take your question a step further. Someone bought something from me, filed a complaint saying it was broken. We agreed on a partial refund. A week later the same person had the item they just bought from me, re-listed and it was NOT broken at all. Welcome to Ebay, there is a lot to learn. I wish you luck. Most on there are honest but check others feedbacks as they can speak volumes as to someones character.

I've sold some jerseys on ebay before, and though I made money on them (mine were used, I think I paid them 1$ or something) so I made money but it wasn't worth the effort. And by looking on ebay now, I don't think it's a good idea. sorry.

Lets be honest here ..It's not like the people selling on I offer haven't heard of Ebay …that would be just dumb .. so if there was a market for someones product on ebay , wouldn't that person know about it ?? Sounds like you're just being naive or really really hopeful …ah wake up snap out of it .. the reason they aren't selling stuff on ebay is because it's fake and they 're not willing to take the heat and get shut down / confiscated . prison, court fines having their listings pulled pay pal account closed etc ..etc .. etc ..they are outta the country and don't even guarantee that you'll get your item many times customs will grab it and confiscate it ..(sometimes they'll ship you another one having not much inverted in it ) but I wouldn't bet on it ..
Easy answer >> is it a good idea ?? hell no .. sounds like a really bad idea ..
You're thinkin that's a start .. just keep the ethics and morality in the equation does it hurt anyone ? is it illegal / immoral ? does it help others ?.. illegal ideas are almost always .. a bad idea .. whether it's karma or god ,conscientious or just the right thing .. why take the hit spiritually

It doesn’t matter what you sell. As it is often said, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Most everyone collects or wants something or other.
Actually, you have to look no further than ebay itself. You will not be looking for single item listings but rather your target will be listings that have similar, grouped items. There are ebay ‘vultures’ who just love to swoop down on similarly grouped items in one listing. When they win these auctions, they turn around and sell the items individually and, in most cases, get one and a half to 2 times and sometimes three times what they paid for them on an average item basis. I know this works. When I had more time (read unemployed), I was one of these ‘vultures.’ This is one of those situations where the parts are worth more than the whole. However, do be cautious if you venture into this arena. You have to know your merchandise. Stay in those areas you are familiar with. You can’t jump in blindly to any and every auction that has grouped items.
If you can buy a large lot of similar merchandise for $100 to $200 and turn it around for $300 to $600, it works out very nicely, indeed! Most buyers of these large lots will be vultures as well so you could be ‘butting bids.’ Keep in mind that the higher the closing price at ebay, the less your profit on the turnaround. It’s not an exact science and it does take a little experience to really know what you’re doing but you can’t be afraid to go out on a limb. That’s where the fruit is. When I see an auction of grouped items it tells me loud and clear that the seller is far more interested in getting rid of their stuff the quickest, easiest way possible and ‘be done with it’ rather than in making a decent profit or profit at all.
Short of items to sell and where to find items to sell? Garage and yard sales, church bazaars, flea markets are obvious. These can be the cheapest sources of merchandise. ‘Junktique’ shops are not that good because these folks know their merchandise. This being the case, it is usually OVERPRICED, not under priced.
If you want to let your fingers do the walking, you too can be crafty ‘vulture’ like a select group of other ebay sellers. Become a member of several smaller auction sites and search for bargains there. But as before, ‘stick with what you know.’
These smaller auction sites are great for buyers for the same reason they are bad for sellers:
Fewer potential bidders = Less competition = Lower closing prices.
Turn them around on ebay:
The ebay formula:
LARGEST auction site by far = MAXIMUM competition = HIGHER closing prices
There are also volume sellers who concentrate on only a handful of popular items by buying in volume / wholesale at a discount and selling at a discount. The average schmo at eBay can’t compete with volume sellers of a particular item.
GOODWILL sometimes also has good bargains, but not always. Mondays / Tuesdays are the best days to visit Goodwill as most people will drop off their donations on Saturdays and Sundays and it has to be cleaned, sorted and marked before it can be placed on display.
GOOD LUCK!

depends on what that image is. If its a painting you have to state that it was picture taken by you. and that is not the original image. you have to see if that image is still protected against being counterfeited. there some companies which hire people to check out ebay for that kind of stuff and you dont know what's in their contracts or disclaimers. so better check what
