Last time we talked about approaching local shop owners in your area and you should be able to look for a lot of partnership opportunities which can help you setting up your eBay business without the need to worry about the stock. However, some of you may have experienced difficulties with certain hesitation from the shop owners. The most common concerns they have are probably:
- No idea how to determine the shipping cost as they sell face to face all the time
- No experience how to manage the shipping process
- Not frequent internet surfer and may have difficulties to manage everything thru email
- No printer to print out the invoice or delivery order
- No time to stop by the post office while they have to stay in shops most of the time
For a person who is not used to PC and internet world, it may not be easy to persuade them to start a new online distribution channel though they know it could bring them additional revenue. Man are natural born to resist change.
However, the same concept can be applied to people who don’t own local shops, but are familiar with the online sales, i.e. people who have their own shopping sites or sell in online markeplaces other than eBay.
There are tons of auction or C2C marketplaces in the world. None of them is as popular as eBay, but there’re still lots of traffic. A lot of them may focus in the market in particular region or country. These sellers decide not to sell in eBay because of a lot of reasons. The most common concerns are the price structure and strict policies by eBay. Language barrier is a common factor, too. If you come from a non-English-speaking country and you’re good in English, you can act as a bridge between the global market and a lot of sellers in your local marketplaces.
So once you’ve identified potential suppliers in different online marketplaces, you can send them emails and tell them what solutions you can offer to bring them additional revenue. Most of the time you can get a response within a day or 2 as these people are from the online world.

I will take your question a step further. Someone bought something from me, filed a complaint saying it was broken. We agreed on a partial refund. A week later the same person had the item they just bought from me, re-listed and it was NOT broken at all. Welcome to Ebay, there is a lot to learn. I wish you luck. Most on there are honest but check others feedbacks as they can speak volumes as to someones character.

I've sold some jerseys on ebay before, and though I made money on them (mine were used, I think I paid them 1$ or something) so I made money but it wasn't worth the effort. And by looking on ebay now, I don't think it's a good idea. sorry.

Lets be honest here ..It's not like the people selling on I offer haven't heard of Ebay …that would be just dumb .. so if there was a market for someones product on ebay , wouldn't that person know about it ?? Sounds like you're just being naive or really really hopeful …ah wake up snap out of it .. the reason they aren't selling stuff on ebay is because it's fake and they 're not willing to take the heat and get shut down / confiscated . prison, court fines having their listings pulled pay pal account closed etc ..etc .. etc ..they are outta the country and don't even guarantee that you'll get your item many times customs will grab it and confiscate it ..(sometimes they'll ship you another one having not much inverted in it ) but I wouldn't bet on it ..
Easy answer >> is it a good idea ?? hell no .. sounds like a really bad idea ..
You're thinkin that's a start .. just keep the ethics and morality in the equation does it hurt anyone ? is it illegal / immoral ? does it help others ?.. illegal ideas are almost always .. a bad idea .. whether it's karma or god ,conscientious or just the right thing .. why take the hit spiritually

It doesn’t matter what you sell. As it is often said, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Most everyone collects or wants something or other.
Actually, you have to look no further than ebay itself. You will not be looking for single item listings but rather your target will be listings that have similar, grouped items. There are ebay ‘vultures’ who just love to swoop down on similarly grouped items in one listing. When they win these auctions, they turn around and sell the items individually and, in most cases, get one and a half to 2 times and sometimes three times what they paid for them on an average item basis. I know this works. When I had more time (read unemployed), I was one of these ‘vultures.’ This is one of those situations where the parts are worth more than the whole. However, do be cautious if you venture into this arena. You have to know your merchandise. Stay in those areas you are familiar with. You can’t jump in blindly to any and every auction that has grouped items.
If you can buy a large lot of similar merchandise for $100 to $200 and turn it around for $300 to $600, it works out very nicely, indeed! Most buyers of these large lots will be vultures as well so you could be ‘butting bids.’ Keep in mind that the higher the closing price at ebay, the less your profit on the turnaround. It’s not an exact science and it does take a little experience to really know what you’re doing but you can’t be afraid to go out on a limb. That’s where the fruit is. When I see an auction of grouped items it tells me loud and clear that the seller is far more interested in getting rid of their stuff the quickest, easiest way possible and ‘be done with it’ rather than in making a decent profit or profit at all.
Short of items to sell and where to find items to sell? Garage and yard sales, church bazaars, flea markets are obvious. These can be the cheapest sources of merchandise. ‘Junktique’ shops are not that good because these folks know their merchandise. This being the case, it is usually OVERPRICED, not under priced.
If you want to let your fingers do the walking, you too can be crafty ‘vulture’ like a select group of other ebay sellers. Become a member of several smaller auction sites and search for bargains there. But as before, ‘stick with what you know.’
These smaller auction sites are great for buyers for the same reason they are bad for sellers:
Fewer potential bidders = Less competition = Lower closing prices.
Turn them around on ebay:
The ebay formula:
LARGEST auction site by far = MAXIMUM competition = HIGHER closing prices
There are also volume sellers who concentrate on only a handful of popular items by buying in volume / wholesale at a discount and selling at a discount. The average schmo at eBay can’t compete with volume sellers of a particular item.
GOODWILL sometimes also has good bargains, but not always. Mondays / Tuesdays are the best days to visit Goodwill as most people will drop off their donations on Saturdays and Sundays and it has to be cleaned, sorted and marked before it can be placed on display.
GOOD LUCK!

depends on what that image is. If its a painting you have to state that it was picture taken by you. and that is not the original image. you have to see if that image is still protected against being counterfeited. there some companies which hire people to check out ebay for that kind of stuff and you dont know what's in their contracts or disclaimers. so better check what
