On eBay the competition is quite harsh. You have to know what to do if you want to bring customers on your site. Having a good reputation is one of the things which influence the buyers. This is why you will have to work hard to convince your clients that you are a reputable buyer that will treat them well.
One of the most important things for many customers is the feedback you have been offered by other previous clients. If you have received bad feedbacks it is very likely that a lot of eBay customers will avoid you in the future. On the other hand, a positive feedback will bring you more clients. So, if you want to have a good reputation you have to score as much positive feedbacks as you can.
You can get those so much wanted good ratings by treating your clients with patience and respect. Even though they may be wrong in what they say or request, it is essential that you remain calm and explain to them where they are wrong. If you see that you do not reach an agreement, be ready to offer a refund and to apologize. This may seem as a waste of time and money, but in fact it will bring you more customers.
Also, never forget to include those simple words, like “thanks for your order” whenever a client buys an item from you. When there are some misunderstandings between you and the buyer, or the package does not arrive in due time, you should sent your client an email in which to say how sorry you are for the inconveniences you have caused him.
EBay only allows you to have one account, so you should think twice before treating your clients inappropriate. One or several negative feedbacks can drive away important clients and can ruin your reputation. No matter of the objects you sell on eBay, the key of success is being reputable.

Help answer the question aboutsell on ebay
Can anyone suggestions a location to advertise the sell of a used Sewing/Embroidery/Serging Machine on eBay?I've just become a Trading Assistant on eBay (selling other peoples home sewing/embroidery/serging machines) and although have many places I already advertise my auctions, was wondering if anyone knows of a new place or two to advertise (not spam) the sell of my auctions?
Any suggestions would be fantastic!

What are you talking about? It'd really help if you told us. Anyway, you can buy cheap things from China some times as low as $4. Be careful, because many people have done this only to scam people on a string of high end auctions so buyers may be skeptical.
Be sure to take pictures, lots of them from different angles and such.
