Those who are hobbyists may also find practical tools for their respective hobbies like gardening tools, cross-stitching paraphernalia, cooking and baking utensils, or scrapbooks.
Best of all, E-bay offers a great line of entertainment appliances and high-tech gadgets like mobile phones, mp3 players, pc tablets, PDAs, memory cards, flash cards, video cameras, digital cameras, audio recorders, sensors, and camcorders.
Aside from these common items that reflect fads and fashions in today’s contemporary society, e-bay has also that special section that consists of “everything else.” These are the things that do not fall under the basic categories. With these things, buyers can be assured of a wide array of things and gadgets that would serve them best provided that it does not fall under E-bay’s prohibited list.

I've sold some jerseys on ebay before, and though I made money on them (mine were used, I think I paid them 1$ or something) so I made money but it wasn't worth the effort. And by looking on ebay now, I don't think it's a good idea. sorry.

If by "eBay credits" you mean eBay Gift Certificates, they can be bought on-line anywhere with a PayPal account. If you don't have one, Sign Up (tiny print) at the top center of the page.
https://www.paypal.com/
eBay Gift Certificates can be emailed directly to your Gift Recipient or to you for personal gift giving and can be used for any purchase or auction on eBay.
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ebay-gift-certificate
Your Gift Recipient will also need a PayPal account and an eBay account. If they don’t, they'll be given the opportunity to register on eBay and sign up for a PayPal account when they purchase an item.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/certificates.html#redeeming
To redeem a Gift Certificate:
"1. Click the Pay now button for the item you are buying.
2. Enter the redemption code from the gift certificate, gift card, or coupon in the "Redemption code" field at the bottom the page and click the Apply button.
Tip: If you received your redemption code online, it’s easier to copy it and paste it into the “Redemption code” field instead of typing it.
3.Click the "Update Total" link to see your new total.
4. Complete your purchase. If the value of your gift certificate, gift card, or coupon doesn't cover the total price of your purchase, you can pay the balance with your PayPal account using your PayPal balance, bank account, or credit card."

Get One! I am a veteran ebayer and the most important thing you can do as a buyer, is to set up a paypal account! It's free and it's easy. Never, never, never, give out your card info to a seller and never pay with a personal check!
Just go to: paypal.com and give your info. It is safe and, they have buyer protection. PayPal has saved my "cheese" on more than one occasion!
